Apartment for 6 people with splendid and direct view on the Matterhorn

The Eagle apartment offers a splendid and direct view of the Matterhorn.
Near the center, quiet along the river, the ideal location for both winter ski enthusiasts and walkers in summer. The compromise between the proximity of the center with the animation of its bars and restaurants and the calm of Bachstrasse 88.

The apartment is spacious, with a nice living room where you can enjoy the charm of a good fire, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It has 2 balconies for sunbathing. The view of the Matterhorn from the dining room is just beautiful. New bedding installed in November 2022
From our apartment you have walking access to all the amenities offered by Zermatt: Shopping, departure excursions, station, shops, food, restaurants, views ect.
A ski room is available in the basement. A collective laundry is at your disposal for a little change.

Haus Astral is a 10-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station, and the train station departs for the Matterhorn. A bus stop is 200m from the apartment. Electric taxis crisscross the village all day long.

In good weather, a multitude of attractions around the Matterhorn are just waiting to be discovered. The Gornergrat, for example, is a memorable excursion destination: at the summit of the rocky ridge, a panoramic platform offering an unforgettable view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountain world has been set up at an altitude of 3,000 meters. The Matterhorn is also admired from the Rothorn.
As for the Matterhorn glacier paradise, it is the highest ski area in Europe and is open all year round.
When the weather is gloomy: the Matterhorn Museum presents the evolution of Zermatt from the mountain village to the tourist resort as well as many information and photos on the first ascent of the Matterhorn.
In the summer, the 5 lakes trail is a must for walkers

Special notes regarding property cleaning and preparation protocols:

Since the beginning of the COVID 19 crisis in March 2020, we have fully equipped and trained our caretakers in the protocols for cleaning and preparing accommodation according to the recommendations of the Swiss and European health authorities, namely:

Protective measures for the use of housekeepers
Before starting to clean the property, the persons in charge of these services must wash their hands and put on disposable waterproof gloves and must avoid touching their faces when cleaning the premises.
Gloves must be discarded after each session.
Housekeepers should wash their hands immediately after removing their gloves, and be sure to ventilate and circulate air throughout the property during and after cleaning.

Property cleaning:
Often touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after each stay. Frequently affected surfaces include: tables, hard-backed chairs, door handles, stair rails, switches, remote controls, cabinet and closet handles, desks, toilets, sinks and sinks, bedside tables and kitchen worktops and other bathroom surfaces, but also key boxes.
A two-step approach is used to ensure the hygiene of these surfaces: to begin with, the janitors use detergent or soap and hot water to clean any traces of dirt on these surfaces, before carrying out a complete disinfection , to eliminate germs.
Hardly touched surfaces - Floors, walls, blinds and all other surfaces that are not touched as often are cleaned with hot water and detergent.
The disinfection products used are taken from the list established by the Federal Office of Public Health.

Towels, sheets and other household linen -
The janitors are provided with disposable gloves when changing the linen. The laundry is washed using the warmest temperature and completely dried.



Tourist taxes are payable locally in cash:
