Description of the holiday rental
Casa Oliva is located right in the heart of Ascona, three steps from the lake and 200 m from the COOP supermarket. It is a real jewel with a lot of attention to detail, bright, harmonious and cosy.
A meticulously renovated house with a separate entrance from the ground floor. Inside we feel immediately in the right place: A living room with dining table and a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and electric oven with induction hob. They give our guests the impression of being right at home. A comfortable sofa bed completes the living room furnishings. Also on the ground floor is the modern-style bathroom with a comfortable glass shower. Climbing the large wooden staircase we reach the corridor to the upper floor and then the beautiful bedroom with built-in wardrobe.
The flat is completed by a WI-fi system and two flat-screen TVs (one on each floor).
Ascona's terrace restaurants, with unique views and an extensive gastronomic menu, are only a 2-minute walk away. Supermarkets, the Tourist Train, the quiet Mediterranean promenade with the Lungalago and the brightly coloured buildings, as well as the science museum, Casa Serodine, are within walking distance of the flat.
A little further on, only an 8-minute walk away, guests will find the Playground, perfect for children's entertainment. The spiritual sanctuary of Monte Verità is a 20-minute walk away. Also not to be missed are the Falconeria di Locarno, the Lido di Ascona and the Golf Club, all just a 10-minute drive from the flat. For those wishing to explore the beauty of the Brissago Islands, the ferry connection is at the same distance.
