The comfortable corner sofa in front of the fireplace invites you to enjoy and read and opens up the view to the elegant spiral staircase, which gives access to the gallery with workspace and daybed. This living area is the heart of this unique architect's apartment with the round wooden dining table and the kitchen alcove. Two bedrooms, fully furnished in wood, provide a cozy retreat, each in close proximity to one of the two bathrooms. A 12 m2 south-facing balcony offers a breathtaking, completely unobstructed 180 degree view of the Matterhorn. Because the house is on a slope from the street and has no elevator, there are a few stairs with a bit of fitness, so the apartment is unfortunately not barrier-free. The apartment is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, but with the nearby free ramp you can reach the center of the village in 10 minutes. From the gondola, Alpmattenstrasse is a comfortable 15 minute walk to the house. In winter you can ski directly to and from the house (ski room available), in summer you start directly in one of the most beautiful hiking areas.
