Sönd wöllkomm. in our cosy farmhouse, situated at the foot of the Alpstein region, we rent a holiday flat on 3 floors for holiday guests. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and a "Stöbli" with a dining table for 6 people, as well as a beautiful seating area with a view of the Alpstein. On the 2nd floor there is 1 double bedroom with a connecting door to another bedroom. The bathroom is also on this floor. On the 3rd floor there are 2 double bedrooms with a corridor for children to play in. On our farm we keep suckler cows. The cows are on the Meglisalp Alp from mid-June to the end of August. The Schwendetal and the Alpstein invite you to beautiful hikes and the ski lift Horn, with the new snowmaking system and a beautiful children's area with ski school, is within walking distance (approx. 300m). From 3 days you receive the popular Appenzell holiday card for various free admissions and mountain railway rides free of charge. Excursion possibilities: Ideal starting point for beautiful hikes in the Alpstein, Appenzell with its picturesque main street and museums (approx. 3 km), St. Gallen with its monastery quarter/abbey library. Sports options in the surrounding area: mountaineering, ice skating, golf course, climbing, mountain biking, cycling tours, tobogganing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, tennis.
