Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride on the funicular railway, the view from the viewing platform at 2362 metres offers a fantastic 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, Lakes Thun and Brienz and across the Bernese Plateau to the Jura. Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe: The highlight of any trip to Switzerland is an unforgettable day trip to Europe's highest railway station in the high Alpine wonderland at 3,454 metres above sea level. Lakes Thun and Brienz: There are good boat connections on both Bernese Oberland lakes. While you enjoy a delicious meal or a glass of wine on board, your eyes glide over the lovely shores with their magnificent historic castles up to the highest peaks.
