Description of the holiday rental

The 4.5-room flat (3 bedrooms) has 122 square metres of living space. The south-facing flat impresses with its modern and light-flooded room climate. Immediately after entering, you reach a generously sized corridor with practical wall cupboards. The bright and friendly living/dining room with dining table for six people, sofa and armchairs invites you to spend some cosy hours and impresses with its wide panoramic windows. The open kitchen is located in the same room. The practical equipment includes all useful kitchen utensils, a large refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, glass ceramic cooker, oven and microwave as well as a coffee machine (Nespresso). The holiday flat offers 3 enclosed bedrooms. One bedroom offers space for 2 persons in a comfortable double bed (180x200cm). In the second bedroom there are two single beds (90x190cm) for 2 persons, in the third bedroom  2 persons can be accommodated in a bunk bed (90x190cm). The flat has two bathrooms, one with WC, washbasin and shower and the other with WC, double washbasin, bath and shower. A baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath are also available. This is a non-smoking flat, pets are not allowed. Wifi internet is available in the house.

The Elona holiday flat is located in the centre of the village of sunny Amden. The flat with 3 bedrooms and a large balcony is located on the first floor. Due to the sunny hillside location of the village of Amden, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. The pretty holiday village of Amden is located in eastern Switzerland above Lake Walen. In the direct vicinity of the flat you will find restaurants, two small supermarkets, a café with bakery, the indoor swimming pool and the chairlift station. The flat is part of a house with restaurant and several (holiday) flats built in 2010 and offers space for 5 people. The flat is modernly furnished. The layout is as follows: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a total of 2 showers and a bathtub as well as an open, top equipped kitchen to the living room and dining area. In the corridor there are practical built-in cupboards. Amden is sunny and has a wonderful view. The nearest bus stop is "Amden, Dorf or Brugg". A parking space is available in the house's own garage.

 

In summer, Amden Weesen offers a perfect combination of a southern beach atmosphere on Lake Walen and an alpine climate between the mountain peaks of Leistchamm and Speer. The range of activities on offer is correspondingly rich. Wonderful hiking trails of all levels of difficulty, charming family hiking trails, wonderful panoramic views from the numerous vantage points or secluded bathing bays by the mountain stream or on Lake Walen all entice you here. An attractive children's playground on the Rombach and the family-friendly indoor swimming pool are within walking distance of the flat. The Mattstock chairlift is also a few minutes' walk from the house. In winter, Amden and Arvenbüel are popular skiing areas for families. In the Arvenbüel part of the village, reachable by car or the free ski bus in a few minutes, the renowned Swiss ski school awaits you. The enchanting winter landscapes around the Flügenspitz also entice you with numerous winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes. Amden is also ideally located for exploring various regions. Whether the cities of Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne and Chur or the leisure regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland and Lake Zurich: everything can be reached easily and in a short time by public transport or by car. Our tip: The sunrise on the Mattstogg (also Mattstock). Start hiking early enough so that you reach the summit on time. The experience is incomparable.
