Description of the holiday rental
The lovingly decorated 62m2 3.5-room chalet has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet on the upper floor and a guest toilet and bathroom with shower on the ground floor. The chalet has a fully equipped modern kitchen and a fireplace in the dining/living area for those cooler days. From the terrace you have a great view of the Eiger and the surrounding mountains.
The chalet has no direct access and no parking space – ideal for guests arriving by public transport. Public parking spaces are available within walking distance. The village centre is a 10 minutes’ walk away. The bus stop is close by.
WiFi is included in the rent.
Pets and smoking are not allowed in the house.

The glacier village of Grindelwald nestles in a diverse, unspoilt Alpine landscape. It is world famous for its backdrop of snow-covered mountains including the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In summer, some 500 kilometers of well-marked walking, hiking and mountain trails wait to be explored. En route you will find you’ll find rustic mountain restaurants offering a wide selection of good food, ideal spots to take a relaxing break. The region has many other summer activities to enjoy, such as 120 kilometers of marked mountain-biking routes, paragliding, bungee jumping in the glacier gorge, scooter bike run, summer roller-sledge run, First cliff walk and much more. In winter, 45 mountain railways, aerial cableways and ski lifts offer an invitation to enjoy great fun in the Jungfrau Region. The tree areas of, Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn offer over 200 kilometers of pistes, with a choice of thrilling or easy downhill runs. Non-skiers are well created for with 100 kilometers of winter-walking trails. The region is also a paradise for sledding fans. The 15-kilometre sledge run from the Faulhorn summit down to Grindelwald is the longest in the Alps. And there’s plenty more snow sport on offer in the Jungfrau Region, including snowshoe tours, cross country skiing and ice sport.
