Description of the holiday rental
On the border with Italian-speaking Switzerland, the uncomplicated atmosphere, the spirit of famous painters and traditionally produced sausages are appreciated. As the starting point of the Engadin Ski Marathon, Maloja is a mecca for cross-country skiers and the Aela ski area is blessed with sunshine. In summer, Maloja is the starting point for short and long hikes and tours. The fascinating interplay of light and shadow has always attracted artists. Giovanni Segantini chose Maloja as his last home and subject for many nature paintings. Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti, also worked here. Its spirit still inspires exhibitions, readings and concerts today.
The studio is located on the outskirts of Maloja on the second floor of the Acquarossa apartment block. A new building with typical Engadine architecture. The flat is bright, cosy, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The quiet and very sunny south-facing location of the non-smoking flat, not far from the village centre, promises a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Public transport is guaranteed and will take you safely to and from Maloja.
