On the border with Italian-speaking Switzerland, people appreciate the uncomplicated atmosphere, the spirit of famous painters and traditionally produced sausages. As the starting point of the Engadin Skimarathon, Maloja is the Mecca for cross-country skiers. The Aela skiing area is spoilt by the sun. In summer, Maloja is the starting point for small and larger hikes and tours. The fascinating play of light and shadow has always attracted artists. Giovanni Segantini chose Maloja as his last home and subject for many nature paintings. Giovanni Giacometti also worked here, the father of Alberto Giacometti. Its spirit still inspires exhibitions, readings and concerts today. The studio is located on the outskirts of Maloja on the second floor of the apartment building Acquarossa. A new building with typical Engadine architecture. The apartment is bright, cozy, comfortable and tasteful furnishings. The quiet and very sunny south facing the Non smoking apartment, not far from the village center, promises a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Public transport is ensured and return them safely to and from Maloja.
