Cozy and relaxing holidays on the Alpe Rosswald above Brig The ground floor apartment in the Chalet Rhodan is modern and cozy and is located very centrally on the Rosswald, right next to the ski lift and just a few minutes' walk from the central car park (only in summer). The grocery store "Magusii", the restaurants as well as the mountain station of the cable car are also within a few minutes' walk. It offers a breathtaking view of the Valais and Bernese Alps and the Rhone Valley. It is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. The apartment consists of the following rooms: - Two bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x bunk bed and single bed) - Bathroom with shower - Fully equipped kitchen - Living room with panoramic window and direct access to the large, covered and furnished terrace (30 m2) - Entrance hall/wardrobe with hiking and ski boot warmer/dryer All rooms, except the entrance hall, are heated with underfloor heating. Among other things, the following are available: Dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Caffettiera Bialetti, milk frother, toaster, kettle, mixer, raclette oven, fondue set, Smart-TV (blueTV), Netflix and Disney+ with personal login, DVD player and DVDs, Wi-Fi, DAB radio, hairdryer, humidifier, hot water bottle, washing machine by arrangement for emergencies, garden grill and electric grill. In addition, various (small) children's items are available: bed guard, children's duvet and pillow, children's dishes and cutlery, high chair, travel cot, potty, baby sledge, sheepskin, foot muff, etc. Library and play corner with books for (small) children, teenagers and adults. Various board games, puzzles, toddler toys, coloring books and colors are also available for free. ROSSWALD - Sun and viewing terrace high above the Rhone Valley The Rosswald is not large, but that is exactly what makes it special. One might say "small but fine" because here you can experience real winter holiday feeling without mass tourism and traffic – small, picturesque, cozy and quiet spots make it easy to forget the hectic everyday life. From Rosswald you are also quickly in the center of Brig – starting point for various excursions, such as to Zermatt, the Aletsch glacier, Stresa, Domodossola or Milan. Thanks to its manageable size, the ski and snowboard school and pistes, which are also perfectly suited for children and beginners, the Rosswald is a perfect family ski area. But those who like it fast and sporty will find the appropriate challenge on the demanding black pistes. Four ski lifts up to 2600 m.a.s.l. and 25 kilometers of perfectly groomed and varied pistes make every day a day of joy. The winter sports offer also includes snowshoeing, winter hiking, ski touring and paragliding. For sledging enthusiasts, we also have the right offer: The legendary sled run from Rosswald to the valley station of the cable car is over 15 kilometers long and covers 800 meters in altitude. It offers enough curves and cozy passages, which lead through the idyllic and snowy winter forest. And the best of all: The pistes and hiking trails start right in front of your chalet.
