Cozy and relaxing holidays on the Alpe Rosswald above Brig The ground-floor apartment in the Chalet Rhodan is modern and cozy, centrally located on the Rosswald right next to the ski lift and just a few minutes' walk from the central parking area (only in summer). The grocery store "Magusii", restaurants and the mountain station of the gondola are also within easy walking distance. It offers a breathtaking view of the Valais and Bernese Alps and the Rhone Valley. It is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. The apartment consists of the following rooms: - Two bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x bunk bed and single bed) - Bathroom with shower - Fully equipped kitchen - Living room with panoramic window and direct access to the large, covered and furnished terrace (30 m2) - Vestibule/reduced/wardrobe with boot warmer/dryer for hiking and ski boots All rooms, except the vestibule, are heated with underfloor heating. The following are also available: dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Bialetti coffee maker, milk frother, toaster, kettle, blender, raclette oven, fondue set, Smart-TV (blueTV), Netflix and Disney+ with personal login, DVD player and DVDs, Wi-Fi, DAB radio, hairdryer, humidifier, hot water bottles, washing machine by arrangement for emergencies, garden barbecue area and electric grill. Various (small) children's items are also available: bed guard, children's duvet and pillow, children's dishes and cutlery, high chair, travel cot, potty, baby sledge, sheepskin, footmuff, etc. Library and games corner with books for (young) children, teenagers and adults. Various board games, puzzles, toddler toys, coloring books and crayons are also freely available. ROSSWALD - Sunny and scenic terrace high above the Rhone Valley The Rosswald may not be large, but that's exactly what makes it special. "Small but fine" is what you might say, because here you can experience real winter holiday feeling without mass tourism and traffic – small, picturesque, cozy and quiet spots make it easy to forget the hectic everyday life. From Rosswald you can also quickly reach the center of Brig – the starting point for various excursions, such as to Zermatt, the Aletsch Glacier, Stresa, Domodossola or Milan. Thanks to its manageable size, the ski and snowboard school and slopes that are also perfectly suited for children and beginners, Rosswald is a perfect family ski area. For those who like it fast and sporty, there are challenging black slopes. Four ski lifts up to 2600 m above sea level and 25 kilometers of perfectly groomed and varied slopes make every day a day of joy. The winter sports offer also includes snowshoeing, winter hiking, ski touring and paragliding. For sledding enthusiasts, we also have the perfect offer: the legendary sledding run from Rosswald to the valley station of the gondola is over 15 kilometers long and overcomes 800 meters in altitude. It offers plenty of curves and cozy sections that lead through the idyllic and snowy winter forest. And the very best is: The slopes and hiking trails begin right in front of your chalet.
